Can love be bought? 

CNN has an article about plastic surgery and how critical people can be of their partner's looks. "Women were more likely than men to take suggestions as gestures of love and when a sweetheart offered to pay, were twice as likely to go ahead with plastic surgery."

What's next, people having plastic surgery to live up to some beauty ideal of the person they *want* to marry (or the one they want to fall in love with them).
