Scientific and emotional intuition

Very Well-Rounded

You have:
70% SCIENTIFIC INTUITION and
62% EMOTIONAL INTUITION
The graph on the right represents your place in Intuition 2-Space. As you can see, you scored above average on emotional intuition and above average on scientific intuition. (Weirdly, your emotional and scientific intuitions are equally strong.)

Your Emotional Intuition
score is a measure of how well you understand people, especially their
unspoken needs and sympathies. A high score score usually indicates
social grace and persuasiveness. A low score usually means you're good
at Quake.

Your Scientific Intuition
score tells you how in tune you are with the world around you; how well
you understand your physical and intellectual environment. People with
high scores here are apt to succeed in business and, of course, the
sciences.

My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

Music: Suicide Note by Johnette Napolitano

Once again a song from Third Watch (the series) got stuck in my head so badly, I just had to find out what it was. It's called Suicide Note and from the Underworld (the movie) soundtrack. Lyrics can be found here or through Google.

The part
"And I wanted to believe
You would win
The war in your head
That I did not understand"
reminds me of all the people who think they understand others. The people who feel they can "fix" other people, or who figure that it is easy for someone to "snap out of it" when they don't really know what "it" is, exactly.

Suicide By Cop: The Modern Way

It looks like suicide-by-cop has become easier these days. Simply buy a one-way ticket to London. Walk into the metro stations carrying a rucksack with some wires sticking out, and make sure to run when you see a cop.

Which file extension are you?

At least I got to be a type that most people can use ...

You are .pdf No matter where you go you look the same. You are an acrobat. Nothing is more important to you than the printed word.

Dementia

An older comedian pretends to be an old, demented man. The audience laughs awkwardly. I cannot laugh. I just returned from visiting my parents. As usual, I wonder "how long"? How long will I be able to see them? How long will they remain sound of mind and body? How long until I have to wash them. How long until I have to tell them my name , every time I visit? How long, until I no longer recognize them?

I hope it will be "very long", but I'm too much of a thinker to be fooled by that.

I'm glad "we" have standards

If we can determine moral superiority by how forces treat POW's, obviously some of us could use a re-education. Not all troops seem to understand how to treat POW's in a decent way. Perhaps "all is fair" in love and war after all?
